From Engineer to Rider!!!

Riding came into my life in a very spontaneous way and the passion was immediate, just like love at first sight! My first interactions with a horse were at the Monte Belo Horse Center in Viseu, where a long-time friend of mine still breeds horses of the high bloodline for the Show Jumping discipline. These moments marked me greatly and would change the course of my life, after graduating in engineering and industrial management at the Faculty of Engineering of Coimbra, my passion spoke louder and everything began …

After a few years working in the area of my university education, I felt that my professional identification with industrial management was diminishing, and my passion and joy, whenever I interacted with the equestrian world, was growing tremendously. I started small, structuring a platform for commerce and distribution of equestrian products, which allowed me to begin the transition in a solid but very objective way! That’s when GQhorses was born.

With a large equestrian infrastructure, based in Ílhavo, GQhorses Equestrian Center is classified with four stars by the Portuguese Equestrian Federation. With a capacity for twenty-four horses, it has a covered arena, an 80*40m outdoor arena, paddocks for all horses, and a vast green area with a pedagogical park, GQhorses can guarantee a service of equestrian excellence, to each customer. We are here at your disposal to lead you into this beautiful sport.
